SELF-SERVE SANDBOX · A SEEDED BOOK · NO SALES CALL

Portfolio management that finally earns its place in the stack.

Rebalancing, tax overlay, performance, billing and a client-facing experience — unified across the custodians you already use. Built for advisory firms tired of normalizing custodial feeds by hand and paying a separate vendor for each piece of the job.

A ranked harvest list, not a report you have to interpret.

Every lot checked against the 61-day wash-sale window and the §1233 short rules, ordered by after-tax benefit rather than raw loss size, sized against a realized-gain budget you set. The advisor approves; the platform does the arithmetic.

You can reproduce this exact screen in your own sandbox tenant in about thirty seconds — the seeded book it runs on ships with the trial.

Two experiences, one platform.

Wealth management and self-directed investing are what we sell today, and they run on the same event-sourced ledger. Take one, or run both side by side for different client segments.

For advisors and their clients

Wealth Management

The whole managed-account lifecycle.

Models and sleeves, multi-dimensional drift, tax-aware and household rebalancing, direct indexing, GIPS performance, AUM billing, and white-label advisor and client portals — on one ledger, across every custodian you hold.

  • Model & sleeve rebalancing at 10K-account scale
  • Tax overlay: TLH, wash-sale, §1233, gain budgets
  • Household rebalancing with asset location
  • GIPS TWR / MWR performance & attribution
  • AUM billing with tiered breakpoints
  • White-label advisor + client portals
For the clients who want to do it themselves

Self-Directed

A client investing app, not a statement PDF.

The same platform ships a modern self-directed experience — guided onboarding, fractional orders, research and watchlists, client-facing AI insights. Offer it to the segment your minimum turns away instead of losing them to a retail app.

  • Guided onboarding (register → verify → fund)
  • Fractional orders in dollars or shares
  • Discover, stock pages & watchlists
  • Client-facing AI insights (not-advice posture)
  • Activity, positions & transfers
  • One app that adapts: advised and self-directed

Three client experiences, one ledger underneath.

The same application adapts to the shape of the account behind it. Nobody is re-onboarded when their life changes — the self-directed investor at 24 becomes the advised household at 45 without ever leaving the book.

Advised client portfolio value with a performance chart and invested, liquid and total gain figures

Advised — a human advisor on the account

Self-directed investor holdings table listing security, price, value, quantity and cost basis

Self-directed — they place their own trades

Managed account panel: tax-loss harvesting showing losses banked this year and currently eligible lots, above a target allocation split across equities, bonds and real estate

Digital portfolios — discretionary, no named advisor

The capabilities you were told to buy separately.

Direct indexing, tax overlay, household coordination and alternatives are usually a second vendor, a third contract and a nightly file. Here they are the same system, on the same event stream as every position and order.

Direct Indexing

Clients own the underlying securities — not a fund share — enabling factor tilts, ESG exclusions, and position-level tax-loss harvesting at fractional-share precision.

Tax-Aware Rebalancing

Every rebalance is evaluated against the tax ledger pre-trade: short vs. long-term lots, wash-sale detection, and realized-gain budgets you set per account.

Household-Level Rebalancing

Rebalance taxable, Roth, IRA and 401(k) as one coordinated unit — asset location assigned per account type automatically.

GIPS Performance & Attribution

Time-weighted (Modified Dietz) and money-weighted (IRR) returns, composites by mandate, blended benchmarks, and contribution/attribution analysis.

AUM Billing

Tiered fee schedules with breakpoints, household aggregation, per-account overrides, proration and idempotent billing runs — invoices branded to your firm.

Alternatives, Native

Private equity, hedge funds and real assets with NAV valuation, capital-call tracking and illiquidity constraints — in performance and household views without manual entry.

Serve the clients your minimum turns away.

The next generation of your clients' households, the sub-minimum referrals, the 401(k) rollovers you can't justify a full relationship for — today they open a retail app and you never see the assets again. Give them your app instead, under your brand, on your custodian, with a path into advice when they're ready.

Guided onboarding

A public sign-up flow takes a new client from email to funded account — register, verify, activate, fund — with no advisor in the loop.

Fractional orders

Buy in dollars or shares with a live quote and a pre-trade estimate, down to 8-decimal precision.

Research & discover

Discover feeds, per-symbol pages and watchlists — the browsing experience clients expect before they buy anything.

Client-facing AI insights

Portfolio, per-security and idea insights written for the end client, each carrying an explicit not-investment-advice disclosure.

Activity & transfers

Full order history, positions and transfers in. The table-stakes surfaces, already built.

One adaptive app

The same client portal serves advised and self-directed accounts, branching on whether the account has an advisor.

Fractional · your brand, your custodian

Every custodian, one book of record.

Most firms above a billion run two or more custodians and pay for that in reconciliation labor every month. Unifying them is the point of the platform, not an add-on module.

Multi-custodian connectivity

Normalize Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, correspondent custody and held-away accounts into one data model — by API where we have it, by file where we don't.

Honest about latency

Integrated mode streams positions in real time. Overlay mode pulls from external custody at the feed's cadence — typically daily on file ingest. We state which one you're in rather than calling both real-time.

Event-sourced ledger

Positions are derived from an immutable transaction stream and every state change emits an event — a complete, replayable audit trail under both front ends.

Additive first. Systems of record later.

Nobody should bet their book on a vendor in one step, and we'd rather earn it in four.

01

Start in the sandbox

Sign up and get your own firm with a seeded book. Look at drift and run a rebalance on the seeded book — before you talk to anyone.

02

Load your own data

Send the position, lot and transaction exports you already download. We reconcile them to your custodial statement line by line, at a fixed as-of date.

03

Run the overlay

Tax overlay and drift monitoring run beside your existing system. You keep executing where you execute today. Nothing is switched off.

04

Expand when it's earned

Rebalancing, then performance and billing, then the client portal. Each step is a renewal conversation, not a migration project.

You own the rails. You're missing the front end.

If you run custody, clearing or execution and your customers keep asking for portfolio management or a consumer investing app, this is the same product from the other side: an advisory and self-directed layer that runs white-labeled on your rails, with no front-end org to build.

You keep custody, execution, the balance sheet and the customer relationship. We supply the software the customer touches.

Custody, execution, the balance sheet, the customer

One product — yours — however they choose to invest

Your CCO's questions, answered before they're asked.

Interpose takes no custody and touches no client money. You remain the adviser of record and the sole fiduciary; we are a technology service provider, and the contract says so in those words.

Amended Regulation S-P now requires you to run vendor due diligence on us and to hold a 72-hour breach-notification commitment in writing. The security packet — WISP, incident-response plan, subprocessor list, data inventory, BCP and a pre-filled questionnaire — is assembled and sent on request, not drafted after you ask.

On the AI: nothing executes without a human. High-risk actions can never be automated at any autonomy level — that's enforced by the capability model itself, not by a policy document someone has to remember to update.

One thing you should hear from us rather than find out later: Interpose is software — not a broker-dealer, not a custodian. You keep your own, and the relationship with them stays yours.
